Accommodation
Etosha National Park is one of Africa’s major wildlife sanctuaries. Enjoy the unique African wildlife. Apart from the buffalo, the park is home to the Big Five as well as hundreds of zebra, gazelle, antelope and giraffe. There are also over 300 different bird species at home here. Best time to go is dry season from June to August.
The lodges in and around Etosha are stunning. You can either stay inside the park or outside on the eastern or western part of Etosha. The advantage of staying in Etosha is the closeness to the waterholes. It is a little more expensive but you can literally spend the whole night at the floodlit waterholes and see a lot of different game. Staying outside the park can be cheaper and it´s only about a 10 – 30 min. drive to the gates. Some of the lodges also feature their own waterholes. The Lodges are very beautiful and well organized with an African charm. Depending on your standard you can choose anything from camping to luxury bungalows, air-conditioned suites, rooms or chalets with their own unique ambience, designed with a classic appeal.
