Naua Naua Lodge

The thatched Naua Naua Lodge was built in 1999 and is located in the untouched natural environment of northern Namibia near the Etosha National Park. Due to the hillside location the lodge offers a spectacular view of the African bush and our rich wildlife. The buildings are fitted in perfect harmony in the wild surrounding.

Accommodation:

Our aim has always been to support the local people as far as possible. This is why our lodge has furnishings and decorations made by local wood carvers as well

as self-designed, handmade steel furniture manufactured in the direct vicinity.

Each room presents itself with a somehow different decoration and atmosphere, but of course they all offer the same high standard. The eight generously dimensioned double rooms in the bungalows each have extra-wide beds protected by a spacious mosquito net. The three bungalows have a common lounge and patio.

The spacious bathrooms are all equipped with large showers and bidet or bath. Our two round rooms are particularly suitable for families. We do not have air conditioning. The thatched roofs provide a natural and pleasant room climate.

Facilities:

Facilities include a cozy restaurant, bar, and a swimming pool.

Attractions & Activities:

Join us on a visit to the Etosha National Park where you can enjoy the unique African wildlife at your leisure. The safari truck of Naua Naua Lodge carries eight passengers. Lunchpacks will be provided for the trip.

The tour starts immediately after breakfast. We give ourselves plenty of time to enjoy the park. You can take photographs and observe the animals for as long as you want. Apart from the buffalo, the park is home to the “Big Five“ as well as hundreds of zebra, gazelle, antelope and giraffe. There are also over 300 different bird species at home here. Have your camera at the ready and don’t forget your binoculars. In the afternoon we return to the lodge after a tour packed with experiences.
