Sharing the eastern border of Namibia’s etosha Nation Park, Onguma Game Reserve is a beguiling mixture of sophistication and relaxation, of elegance and the earth. In the local Herero language, onguma means, “the place you don’t want to leave.” The lodge blends seamlessly with nature. The Onguma Bush Camp has a feshwater swimming pool and a thatched bar and dining area.
Activities are not offered at the Onguma Bush Camp. The Onguma Tented Camp is situated at a waterhole and all the luxury tents as well as the main complex overlook the waterhole.
Accommodation:
Onguma Bush Camp: Consists of rondavels with twin beds, en-suite toilet and shower and air-conditioner. There are also rooms with twin beds and en-suite toilet and shower and air conditioner. Two Family Rooms with 4 twin beds, en-suite toilet and shower and air-conditioner.
The Onguma Bush Camp also has a dining area, a lounge area, bar area and swiming pool. |

Onguma Tented Camp: All are twin bedded with en-suite showr, bath and toilet, Verandah, a standing fan is alo in the tent. Each tent a both an indoor and outdoor shower. A direct view out onto a waterhole that is floodlit at night.
Onguma Tree Top Camp: is situated around a waterhole and consists of 3 luxury tree houses, each overlooking the waterhole. The main complex, also overlooking the waterhole, includes a reception area, lounge and dining room.
Onguma Plains Camp: This Fort is unlike any other, the only one of its kind in Namibia. Overlooking the beautiful scarceness of the Etosha Pans, decorated only with its wild animals and hundreds of Camel Thorn trees that dot the landscape. Onguma Plains have 11 mini-Suites and 1 maxi-Suite, all situated adjacent to the Main Fort extending on both sides along an escarpment to the south and the north. Every Suite is completely private and about 50 metres apart from one another, each with their own incredible view over the Etosha Pans.
