6 Day Dunes & Wildlife Experience
This safari is the 3 Day Etosha Express, extended to 6 days, incorporating the dunes of the Namib Desert. If you have more time on your hands we recommend this Safari.
Itinerary
Day 1: Windhoek – Etosha National Park (D – *B, L not included)
- Departure is in Windhoek around 12:00
- Quick stop in Otjiwarongo
- Accommodation is permanent tents with en-suite bathroom facilities at a lodge outside Etosha
- Dinner prepared by your guide
Day 2: Spend the day at Etosha National Park (B, L, D)
- Today we explore the plains of Etosha
- Light breakfast prepared by your guide after a short game drive
- Many of Etosha’s wonderful waterholes are visited as we drive towards Halali
- Lunch is prepared by our guide at Halali while you swim or visit the local waterhole
- We Visit the Etosha Salt Pan after lunch on our way back to Okaukuejo
- Accommodation is permanent tents with en-suite bathroom facilities at a lodge outside Etosha
- Dinner is prepared for you by your guide
Day 3: Etosha National Park – Windhoek (B, L – *D not included)
- A 3 hour game drive inside Etosha looking for predators and plains game
- Our journey then start back towards Windhoek
- We will Stop at the local craft markets in Okahandja
- Light lunch prepared by your guide
- Arrive in Windhoek during late afternoon
- We will spend the night at Chameleon Guesthouse
Day 4: Windhoek – Lodge near Sesriem (D – *B, L not included)
- Various craft markets in Windhoek is visited
- Departure is around 12:00 via Rehoboth and Naukluft from the guesthouse
- Arrive at the camp during late afternoon
- We take a short walk to enjoy the sunset over the Naukluft mountains
- Relax and enjoy the marvelous views
- Pool and Bar available
- Accommodation is in twin rooms/permanent tents with en-suite bathroom facilities
- Dinner prepared by your guide
Day 5: Sesriem – Sossusvlei – Sesriem (B, L, D)
- We explore Sossusvlei during sunrise and visit Dead Vlei by foot
- There is a chance to climb the famous Dune 45
- On our way back to the camp we visit the Sesriem Canyon
- We enjoy the sunset over the desert and head back to our camp
- Dinner prepared by your guide
Day 6: Sesriem - Windhoek (B - *L, D not included)
- After a leisure breakfast we return to Windhoek via Bullsport and Rehoboth
- We arrive before lunchtime and drop you at your accommodation

This safari departs every Tuesday. Airport Transfers can be arranged.
